Yoga regards the body as a vehicle for the soul in its journey towards perfection, asanas or yoga postures are designed to develop not only the body, but they also broaden the mental and spiritual capacities.


Our initial concern is simply to increase body flexibility, focusing on the health of the spine, its strength and flexibility, for the spinal column houses the all important nervous system, the telegraphic system of the body.


Asanas work on the internal glands and organs of the body as well as the muscles. Along with the practice of yoga postures, we learn how to breathe deeply and concentrate our minds.


90 minutes of practice will give you 90 minutes of exercise, deep relaxation and meditation through developing the concentration powers within the pose.


Performed slowly and consciously the asanas go far beyond mere physical benefits, becoming mental exercise in concentration and meditation.
